History
„Complex environments in particular must be able to be administrated inexpensively and efficiently.“, says Holger Gelhausen, whose defined goal always was to produce so-called push-button management. In 1997, he carried out a study of competitors for Microsoft's SMS and obtained a deep insight into the different concepts and available tools. In 1998, Holger Gelhausen was responsible for the conception and implementation of a software distribution system for a large insurance group with 13.000 clients. Other large projects dealing with the efficient management of fat and thin clients soon followed. As an important element for his "mission" of increasing efficiency while at the same time reducing costs, Server Based Computing with Citrix was added and other projects with integrated fat/thin clients were successfully realised. Since 1999, Holger Gelhausen is the Managing Director of ptecs GmbH and since then has advised not only firms, but also producers of IT tools in their implementation and further development of software distribution solutions. |
